A wall tapestry can be a great way to bring life and color to your home. Whether it is the dining area, the living room or the sleeping area you want to brighten up and redecorate, tapestries can create a focal point in the room and attract everyone’s attention from guests to the people living in the house. A tapestry is more unique than a regular painting or a photo, and will always draw people’s attention.

It can be slightly difficult to fix a tapestry to the wall so that it looks right, but there are a few methods and tools to make it easier. You can try hanging a tapestry from heavy-duty curtain rods, made for heavy materials. Because tapestries usually weigh more than a typical curtain fabric, it is best to invest in a good quality rod. The best materials are solid types of hardwoods, such as oak, or strong iron rods.

There are also tapestry rods on the market, specifically created for hanging tapestries. They are very similar to a curtain rod but they are made sturdy and heavy enough to be able to hold a lot more weight. A tapestry rod usually also have longer brackets than a normal curtain rod, and the lenght of the rod makes the fabric hang further away from the walls. Because there is space between the wall and the tapestry, air can circulate freely in the space, which prevents problems such as humidity and dampness. This prevents damp and mould from forming in the tapestry. Mould is a common problem with some types of tapestries and can easily cause serious damage.

Tapestries are an easy way to redecorate any room that looks like it needs something new and excitin. They can also make a normal room look more elegant and add style to your home. Always make sure you fix the tapestry well with the rods and the brackets to prevent it from falling.
